Maryland ASCD 2007-2008 Excellence Awards

Recognizing Outstanding Individuals, Teams, and Programs in Education

At its annual Spring Forum on May 15, 2008, Maryland ASCD will present three awards to honor outstanding educators who have made noteworthy contributions to the development and achievement of educators and students. The three types of awards are:

• Individual
• Team
• Program
  

Nomination Guidelines

• All educators in Maryland are eligible for nomination for one of the three awards.

• Nominees must have made significant contributions to education in Maryland or in their school district.  These contributions must be documented by information submitted with the completed Nomination Form.

• Use the reverse of this sheet or log on to http://marylandascd.org for forms and information.

• Three letters of support must accompany the Nomination Form.  One letter of support must be from a member of Maryland ASCD.

• Completed nomination application packets must be received by Maryland ASCD by March 14, 2008. Completed packets include the Nomination Form, information specific to each type of award, a summary of no more than three pages, and the three letters of support.
