The Maryland Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (MASCD) was organized in 1946 to provide leadership in education across the state.  Its members include college/university and school system administrators, supervisors, teachers and others who are dedicated to providing quality education for children.

 MASCD is a state affiliate of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD); a transnational organization with 130,000 members.

  JOIN PROFESSIONAL COLLEAGUES IN EDUCATION

                  >      Address current educational issues at the annual fall and spring MASCD conferences.
                  >      Receive MASCD publications that are written and edited by Maryland educators.
                  >      Network with other professionals representing all aspects of education in Maryland.
                  >      Recognize educational leadership as part of the MASCD organization to. . .

                               Honor educational researchers through annual research awards.
                                         Monitor federal and state legislation related to education.
                                         Respond to legislation impacting education.

 Collaborate with other educational leadership organizations across the state as a part of the Council of Educational Administrative and Supervisory Organizations of Maryland (CEASOM).

 Collaborate with the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD) to review national and international educational issues.
