Recognizing Outstanding
Individuals, Teams, and Programs in Education
The Maryland Recognition
Awards Program honors teachers, educational assistants, principals,
curriculum specialists, superintendents, school board members, college
professors, and others who have made noteworthy contributions that
enhance the growth and development of educators and students.
Awards are given annually in three categories: individual awards,
team awards, and program awards. Within each award category
are suggestions for demonstrations of excellence.
